Long time.  The gastropod you have listed as a Neptunea (family Buccinacea) is in the family Turbinidae, probably in the genus Margarites.  If you send me the size and a view of the underside I can identify it for you.

I am fortunate to have good friends with MBARI who allow me to tag along and photograph some of the deep water wildlife they encounter.  I&#039;ve made some great friends in this community of deep sea biologists and am so appreciative of everything they have allowed me to do.  I&#039;m hoping for a lot more of this kind of work.
